Bintaro, September 2015. Indonesia WOW Brand was held at The Ritz-Carlton, Mega Kuningan, Jakarta on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. Based on research conducted by MarketPlus Insight, PT Tozy Sentosa through Centro Department Store managed to become one of the winner in INDONESIA WOW BRAND AWARD 2015 Retail Sector, Department Store category.


Indonesia WOW Brand awards brands that achieved the highest BAR (Brand Advocacy Ratio) based on MarkPlus Insight research in 18 cities in Indonesia on more than 20-thousand respondents. As a research-driven award, Brand Champion Award serves as one of the less-biased awards in Indonesia.


As an alternative to brand equity measurement, MarkPlus introduces two new metrics called the Purchase Action Ratio (PAR) and the Brand Advocacy Ratio (BAR), which measure how good companies ‘convert’ brand awareness into brand purchase and loyalty.


Indonesia WOW Brand Award prides itself on the basis of research conducted via Face-to-Face Interview and Computer Assisted Telephone Interview on 20,000 respondents in eighteen cities in Indonesia. These 18 cities are, Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang, Palembang, Makassar, Pekanbaru, Padang, Denpasar, Banjarmasin, Balikpapan, Pontianak, Surakarta, Manado, Jogjakarta, Jayapura, dan Banda Aceh. For specific categories, MarkPlus Insight focuses on seven cities, they are, Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Semarang, Makassar, dan Balikpapan.
